Baijus Will Continue Sponsor of Kerala Blasters in ISL
Leading Edu tech company Baijus will continue to be the title sponsor of the Kerala Blasters in the eighth edition of the Indian Super League. The Kerala Blasters themselves have announced that Baijus will continue this season. Muthoot was replaced last season by Baijus as the Blasters’ title sponsor. Baijus, the world’s largest Edu tech company, is also the main sponsor of the Indian cricket team.
The schedule for the new season of the Indian Super League was released yesterday. The competition is scheduled for December. The season starts on November 9th. The inaugural match is between Kerala Blasters and ATK Mohun Bagan. The match will be played at Fatorda Stadium. The same teams have been competing in the opening match for the last three seasons.
The matches will be played at three stadiums in Goa. Confirming earlier reports, the second match of the weekend will be at 9.30 am. The Kolkata Derby will be held on November 27. Defending champions Mumbai City FC will play their first match on the 22nd. Mumbai’s opponents are FC Goa.
The Blasters will face North East in their second game on November 25. The Blasters’ next match is against Bengaluru FC on December 28. The rivals are Odisha FC. The Blasters will face East Bengal on December 12, Mumbai City on December 19, Chennai on December 22 and Jamshedpur on December 26.
Meanwhile, the Blasters defeated the Indian Navy by an unbeaten goal in the Durand Cup. The Blasters’ winning goal was scored by Adrian Luna from the penalty spot.
Both teams had several chances but could not convert them into goals. In the first half, the Blasters were in the lead in passing and passing. The referee awarded a penalty for dropping Blasters’ K Prashant in the box.
